Poljot Sturmanskie SS-18

Late-nineties production

Another awesome Sturmanskie missile-chronograph. Not very much information is available on the SS-Missile chronographs other than they were in production between 1993-2003. Very few movement shots are shared, however I've seen enough to know that there was probably never a time in the ten year period that these chronographs were not produced. The movement is a late-nineties "P3133" with all yellow running wheels; therefore not really that old.

Unique golden chrono-eye rings

A very unique feature to this chronograph is the golden rings around the chrono-eyes. I can't recall seeing this before, and you're not likely to find another in a Google "Sturmanskie" image search.

The sellers grandfather was "the Assistant Judge Advocate General at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis and drafted much of the Kennedy-Khrushchev Accords", and this chronograph was gifted to his son, the sellers father, at sometime (probably late-1990s or early-2000s). The father was not a collector and the watch was not used.
