Although not suitable for actual diving and barely splash resistant at that, this ca. 1997 model is one of my all-time favourite Poljot chronographs.
In my opinion, the late-nineties saw some of the finest chronograph designs ever produced at the 1st Moscow Watch Factory, and I have been lucky enough to purchase a handful of these beauties in "as new" condition. And although they are seemingly rare, they are not as sought after by collectors as the military-style Sturmanskies and Okeans.
Also note the new late-nineties handset.
Another new design for the case backs.
